U Project is staffed by an enthusiastic group of certified educators. Our team is made up of camp management professionals with a strong passion for supporting the next generation of learners through unique lessons and engaging experiences.
NICOLE NEDERLK
Director/Founder- UProject LLC
Ms. Nederlk has over a decade of experience in directing camps and after-school programs for non-profit organizations. She has been teaching in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for 16 years. Ms. Nederlk graduated from St. John Fisher College with a BA in Elementary Education as well as a Masters Degree from UNCC and is National Board Certified. Her passion and dedication to education is evident in the success of her students.
NIKKI ROGERS
Coach
Mrs. Rogers is a certified educator that has been teaching for 7 years. She spent 4 years teaching Fifth Grade in New York and this past year teaching Second Grade at MPTS. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood/Childhood Education and her Master's Degree in Literacy Education both from SUNY Oneonta in New York. Mrs. Rogers is so excited to be your child's camp coach this summer! Her classroom motto is ”kindness matters” and she and her students strive for kindness every day.
JANIRA REZA
Coach
Ms. Reza has been teaching for 12 years. She has taught 2 years in her hometown and 8 years in CMS. She received her degree in education from East Carolina University. She is also a National Board Certified teacher. She has a passion for STEM which is showcased in the lessons used that help engage and challenge students.
BETSY WETMORE
Coach
Ms. Wetmore is a certified teacher who has been teaching for 17 years. She graduated from Appalachian State with a BA in Elementary Education and received her Masters Degree from Queens College in literacy. Ms. Wetmore is excited to be a coach this year and has a passion for building relationships with students and families.
